Welcome to Alberta's Ram River. Located in Central Alberta, Canada, just north of Calgary, Alberta's Ram River is home to a fine westslope cutthroat trout population. The Ram River is a wilderness fly fishing vacation offering an exceptional dry fly fishing experience for cutthroat trout. The South Ram is home to a 1200 foot canyon, waterfalls, and resident herds of bighorn sheep. Catch rates on the South Ram River can be quite high. Intermediate anglers can expect to land several dozen trout. 100+ fish days are quite possible when good conditions are present. For wilderness trout, solitude, scenery, and relaxation, join us on Alberta's South Ram River. Our trips are walk and wade one day atv / hike trips, or overnight camping & rafting fly fishing for 2 - 5 days.
